To the south of Nantong is Nanjing-Nantong freeway, Nantong port, Nantong-Changshu and Nantong-Zhangjiagang bus ferry. To the east is the railway station and Nantong Airport. There are complete kinds of equipment such as turning, milling, planning, grounding, boring, punching, line cutting machines and numerical control lathes, numerical control millers, vertical and horizontal working centers as well as gear machining equipment.
